Rumee is a social entrepreneur. She founded Hamro LifeBank that uses a data-informed approach to cut out the stress involved in finding and managing blood for patients in Nepal. She also started Katha4Nepal, a platform for kids to engage and learn through stories. Rumee has over 15 years of experience in leading production teams and creating innovative solutions to new demands and opportunities in the digital space. She has successfully led and managed educational programs including financial literacy programs featuring Warren Buffett and STEM programs for Intel & Disney. She also worked with PepsiCo in the global communication team at New York and led sector PepsiCo consumer relations in Dubai before moving back to Nepal. She holds a Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from Nepal and a Masters in Journalism from Boston. She is also a mentor at Girls in Tech, Nepal. Rumee joined Dyf as advisory board member in 2020.
